Orchids & Pearls – ALESSIA & VINCE – PART 2

The theme for Alessia & Vince’s fabulous wedding was ‘Orchids and Pearls,’ and incorporated the colours purple, ivory, and silver.  During the discussions about the cake, we came up with many ideas, as there were many possibilities for the cake that incorporated this theme. One thing was for sure – it had to be classic, grand and have presence. So I went to the drawing board and came up with this design.

Purple cymbidium orchids, along with scattered purple hydrangeas lightly cascade down 8 tiers that were covered in shimmer and floating pearls. It definitely turned out to be a classic, grand cake with presence – and LOTS of pearls!

Congrats again to my friends Alessia & Vince. Enjoy Hawaii!

Dear Josie,
I LOVED MY CAKE!!! It for sure had presence and it was definitely grand! The orchids and pearls looked SO real! I know I said LOTS of pearls – but I never imagined THAT MANY pearls. It was a WOW-factor. You definitely exceeded anything I imagined or expected!! You are a true artist and I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. And as always … the cake was delicious!

Josie, I’d also like to say that it was a true pleasure working with you on not just one but TWO projects for my wedding! (The Cake as well as the Candy Station you did for us).
Your professionalism and your dedication to your work and your clients, is what makes it so easy and so enjoyable to work with you! I truly appreciated all your ideas and your feedback. I look forward to ordering my next Juicy Cake!!

I love this cake and its almost spot on with my wedding colours!

How much did this cake cost? It’s larger than I would need but it’s absolutely gorgeous… :)
